Muriel has been with the Fayette Chamber of Commerce since April of 1997. Her first position with the Chamber that was the Membership/Finance Assistant. In 2001, with growth and expansion of the organization in sight, the Chamber changed its name to the Fayette Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber’s non-profit arm, The Redstone Foundation was created. Muriel assumed the role of Executive Director in January of 2002 and has served the business community in this capacity ever since. The Fayette Chamber has grown from a local community chamber with approximately 250 members in 1997 to the robust county-wide organization of 600+ members it is today. With a broad focus on community and workforce development, Muriel spends much of her time meeting with members and working with partner organizations toward building a better and more vibrant business atmosphere in the county. Muriel has a B.A. Degree in Communications from California University of Pennsylvania. She currently lives in Brownsville, PA, is married and mother of three active children.

Kathy Dowling
Membership Services Coordinator

Kathy Dowling has been the Membership Services Coordinator since the fall of 2000. In addition to meeting with potential new members, she assists current members in various aspects of their membership. Kathy helps make connections to other members, will discuss various ways to marketing member businesses or events, and will even help in designing marketing materials. She is also in charge of the weekly email updates and the monthly printed newsletter. As the staff all wear many hats, however, you may find her out front helping with visitor information, helping plan the next Chamber event, or answering the phones. Kathy holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Westmoreland County Community College. She is married with two very active children, and currently resides in Uniontown.
